Before we begin I'd like to say I am very selective about guest posts and usually only accept them from people I know.

Make sure to do the following.

• Use good spelling and grammar. You would not believe the way some people pitch their ideas.
• Address me and the website personally, that shows you are human and actually know who you are contacting.
• Make sure you have at least read through some of the website and had a skim through to get an idea of the topical relevance.
• Tell me why you are an authority on the subject you want to write about.
• How can you help me help my audience better?
• Share examples of your best previous work.
